August 8, 200620 yr John Fay is reporting that Majewski was told to keep quiet about being hurt when he was traded...Not good....not good at all and damaged goods, often gets returned to the seller....with a refund and possible compensation. Interesting story will develop from this, I'm sure.
August 8, 200620 yr Does Bowden have a shred of integrity left? Is there anyone in baseball that takes that guy seriously? Does he have a prayer of keeping that job for next year?

August 8, 200620 yr It is very rare to see the bullpen get up in the 1st inning especially when it's only 2-0. Is it not "the most important series of the year?" It just irks me how Narron waits and waits on guys when they are pitching and doesn't at least get someone ready in case his current pitcher gets in trouble. I just don't think he gave the Reds much of a chance last night by staying with Ramirez, when he had Franklin in the pen - a guy who was "well" rested and probably itching to play.

August 8, 200620 yr Borrowed this from a poster on Lancaster's blog... Here's what Baseball Prospectus injury guru Will Carroll says: The team was aware when they traded for him that he'd been dealing with "mild shoulder tendonitis," but one cortisone injection back in May cleared up the problem. No clue who Will's source is.
