Congrats to Coach Brandon Smith and the South Warren Spartans!

South Warren has a talented, well coached football team that was just too much for EKY representative Johnson Central.

I think we are going to be seeing a lot of the Spartans in the years to come.

Solid victory...4A could be theirs for the foreseeable future.

Congrats South!! The winner moves to 5A right?

I have said all year their defense was no joke. Good to see Sparty prove me right.

Great defense. Great team. South Warren was without a doubt the best team this year. Congratulations to them on the State Championship!!! Congratulations to Johnson Central on a wonderful season. South Warren was the real deal this year!

That's what they do in Illinois. The winners keep winning, even as they move up.

Congratulations on a great season Johnson Central. Congratulations to South Warren on 15-0 and the 1st state championship in school history.

An analysis of that system would be an interesting topic for another thread.

Very impressed with that SW Defense. Every bit as good as the hype.

The Offense was adequate enough to do the job. Even then...their Offense was better than I expected.

JC has to build from this. With the new alignment it wont be their last trip. Have to improve their speed and athleticism across the board. I know everyone will get on them about their passing game, but if shoving a square peg in a round hole doesn't fit then don't try to do it.

Brandon Smith is picking up some of his dad's old habits. I couldn't help but think of the old Boyle teams on Defense watching them make plays and wreak havoc.

The Spartans are a finely tuned machine, they are not peaking yet, but it's a must see team.

Impressive performance by South. Really enjoyed watching their defense play even though I was pulling for Johnson Central.

Congrats to JC for a fine season as well.

Congrats on the championship.

Congrats Spartans! You have earned it! I wonder.... Will they come out with updated rankings for 2015 after the Championship games???? @theguru @PurplePride @DragonFire Do you guys know anything????

Congrats SW! Real deal

As for JC, great season just have to continue progressing. Feel for some of the boys after all they have dealt with the past couple years.
