November 29, 201510 yr It's pretty easy to find one about anywhere. It might not be something that he really wants to get a grad degree in but it isn't too difficult to find something. I was wondering if he may do something like that. I would if it meant I could go somewhere that I am comfortable at.

November 30, 201510 yr No offense to any of the football experts on here but the pre season rankings had Pat as a top 5 guy in the draft. To say he couldn't play at Bama or Michigan doesn't make much sense after hearing what the real experts say. Having an OL and some receivers would be huge for Pat. Sure he will do great at his next stop. I believe he did all he could for UK and wish him nothing but the best.
November 30, 201510 yr Some of you need to come back to reality with some of these teams you are talking about. Towles has been average AT BEST in his time at UK, and you can't blame all of it on the o-line and receivers... I don't disagree with him being anything but average at best at UK. It was not all his fault, but he did have a hand in the bad play with his inconsistent play. Here is why I think he will end up at a bigger place than you think. People look at him and see a big mobile qb with a good arm. Teams see that potential. They also see that he has experience and that experience has come in the Sec while playing with a bad team. Coaches are arrogant and will think they can make him better and play to his potential. Which in the right situation is true. Take Michigan for instance. Jim Harbaugh is great with qbs. Don't you think he will look at Towles and see his skill set and think that he can make him better? Wouldn't Towles probably give Harbaugh a better chance to win than a young qb with no experience? Coaches will see that his play was just average but will also see the skill set and experience and will give him a shot. So it may or may not be Michigan but will be bigger than places you think imo.

I think he still has 90% of the vote. He's been nothing but a class act while at UK and his note to the fans today may have cemented a victory in the polls one day. I'd likely vote for him just because he seems to be a top notch person. He needs to go to Duke to shore up the political background.
November 30, 201510 yr If stoops were in the 2012 SEC East he would be 3-9. Joker lost to Petrino coached WKU in OT making him 2-8. Toppers would top Stoops...remember we trailed EKU by 14 in the 4th. To set record straight, Joker lost to Willie Taggart and WKU in the 2012 overtime game and Stoops lost to Petrino and WKU in the 2013 game to complete the 2 game contract. Ky has no business scheduling WKU in football in the future if the idea is schedule someone you can beat
November 30, 201510 yr There were things I liked about Towles, and things I didnt like. However he became THE scapegoat for all the problems at UK. Towles never dropped a pass, or missed any blocks. Nor did he provide zero pressure from the defensive line position, yet many thought replacing him with Barker would solve everything. Well, we see how good that worked out- Good luck to Towles wherever he ends up.
