December 11, 201510 yr Is there any pipeline to BC? Kind of a different place for NKY boys to go to. BC hits Cincinnati hard. Lots of GCL kids have gone there.

I coached his son Grant in football a few years back. He is now a freshman at CovCath.

December 16, 201510 yr I've just scanned this thread so these questions may have been answered but: Did Towels let his desire to play at UK cloud his judgement when choosing a college? Follow-up, with hindsight being 20-20 would he have been better off letting the recruiting process play out through his senior year and see if there were any other offers? Can Patrick master another scheme in the time he has to be a starter at a "big time" school? Will a "big time" program take a chance and use a scholarship on a player who at best will only have 1 year and at worst can't master the system well enough to start? I have also just scanned this thread, but this last question is a good one to me. If I remember right, he didn't get playing time his first couple years because he couldn't grasp the offense. I might have gotten bad info at the time, but if this is the case, I could see coaches not wanting to take a chance for 1 season.
