There is no class in the Lafayette program,

really none of the Lexington schools. They don't know how to act because they have never been there. It is a shame. The Lafayette coaches are to blame, they are no different than the players. They will find out next week what a champion looks like. Shame, they have a ton of talent. Hate to see bad sportsmanship

Congrats to LHS but I agree with KentuckyJoe, I hope Male has a running clock put on them after that display. Need to try to win and lose with class.

Walker Wood and Alsatt had great games getting to the edge.

Not really sure what happened to SK. Whatever it was they never recovered from it. SK scores to go up 28-12 with about 5 minutes left in the second quarter. SK didn't score a point the rest of the game.

 

Lafayette is big but they didn't have any speed that really killed SK. Lafayette had a long pass play of maybe 70 yards on blown coverage. The rest of the game Lafayette just controlled the line of scrimmage and gained chunks of yards in the air and on the ground.

 

SK's offense was not a factor really in much of the second half.

Simon does have an excellent program but they definitely need to schedule up a little more.

I thought they have been begging schools to play them? At least I'm sure I read that in a past thread somewhere.

Only a handful of the Lafayette players and coaches had no class. I seen Lafayette help SK players up most of the game and shaking hands with SK players after the play.

No, this wasn't a major upset, it looked about even going in.

 

SK looked better in the regular season than they did in any of their playoff games. Not usually a recipe for success in the post season.

SK couldn't get the running game going. Lafayette stepped up and played good defense.

So was this a major upset? To me the writing was on the wall after the Cooper game.

 

No,, Cooper could very well have beaten them last week. I think once they would face a team to negate SK's size advantage, they would get beat. However, I want to congratulate the Pioneers on a great season and representing NKY in a great way.

That is a pretty broad brush to say no lexington schools have class, i was at the game and i thought it was hard played game by both teams ,each team showed class and good sportsmanship on the field.

Unless they're playing the bigs from Louisville, or Cincinnati then this will always be the line when SK loses.
