It isn't called very often, probably shouldn't have been called in this instance where you can tell that Peko was motioning that it was a run play. Run-Run-Run is not the same as Hut-Hut-Hut.

He doesn't care what you say...because if you also look closely, he had blue earplugs in both ears. I'm sure if we had been able to see his feet he had socks with sandals on.

I'm a loser! Advertising some golf club or something! Wouldn't you think that he could spring for a decent looking Bengals hat on national tv? That tells me he doesn't want anyone to know who he is rooting for, if he even was. Maybe that was a betting slip and he was confirming the odds he got on the game.

The loss wouldn't be as tough if they would have handled business last week against Houston instead of laying a dud.

 

I don't mind them losing. I hate when the coaching staff makes dumb decisions though. I do love going for the TD but not there. You run the ball and take away time on the clock. They were pretty lucky it wasn't picked.

Went to bed at halftime, so didn't see the ending, but from looking at the box score and the write-ups, I'd think Bengals fans would be pretty pleased with the performance last night. Obviously, upset at the result, but they played a top notch team on the road down to the wire.

This is one I've pegged the Bengals to lose all year so not too upset. Penalties and dumb clock management have to be cleaned up. Not anticipating the clock management issues to go away though. Once again showed some resiliency on the road against a very good team, which is always good to see. I'm not expecting another clunker like Houston so 13-3 is my guess where they'll end up. Still a chance at 12-2 with the two seed. I'll take that.

Going into the game, I was scared to death of the Cardinals' offense. Very diverse group, and Arians is no fool. Thought we'd get picked apart all night, especially after knowing that Jones wasn't playing. That was offset, somewhat, by Floyd not playing on the other side...but, still.

 

Thought the offense did a good job coming off the mat there in the 4th quarter to tie it up. I don't mind them going for it on 3rd down there, late. Was not a big fan of the play itself. I don't even mind that they threw it, but I'd much rather have Andy with some options back there.

How about knowing the secondary is beat up and not blitzing a couple of times on that last drive. Instead, Bengals try to cover three with seven and Palmer picked them apart. One sack and it is overtime and Palmer fumbles if you get close to him. Cards seemed like they blitzed half the time.

Now the clock management is unbelievable. Marvin was asked about it in his post game conference and he threw Andy under the bus. He said it was on Andy to get them in the best play possible at the time. I know they can tell him to run it no matter what! If Andy chose to throw to Green, at that time, that was nearly picked, was a terrible decision. Somebody stunk it up there.

I give Andy a pass. This OLine is SOOOOO bad at getting a push that 3rd and 2 might as well be 3rd and 7. 2 times in the first half they couldn't pick up 1 yard. One time they did, barely. They don't have the short yardage back on top of that. They need to draft a Center next year, like a really strong center.

If you don't get the 1st down running the ball there it is still ok to kick the same exact FG but with 40 seconds less on the clock.

Good point. I don't mind going for the throat. I do mind AJ's lack of ferocity when it comes to fighting for balls.
