Is Les Miles on his way out

Featured Replies

They mentioned on Mike and Mike that one of the former players (now radio host) was calling him for him to be out if they lost this week. Would be 3 in a row and he was saying that Les does not develop his talent. Cris Carter flat out said he thought he was not a very good coach. They are getting worked today at Ole Miss. What do you think??

Probably should be but it would cost the University I think about $15 million buyout and then what it would cost to bring it a big time coach that's a lot for a university these days.

If he is then either that or USC job is most attractive.

Miles will be out of work about 10 minutes if he wants to get right back into coaching.

I could him taking his money and taking some time off and waiting for just the right job to come open.

IMO LSU is stupid to fire him.

He could take an ESPN job for the time being and just relax, take whatever big time job he wanted. Watch Miami or USC throw the checkbook at him.

Miami is a dumpster fire, bad facilities and unwilling to put money into it.

Only reason to go there would be for a boat load of money...Miami is too cheap to pay much these days.

They would only be stupid if it would cost them $15. Les is about as overrated as they come IMO.

7 out of 11 seasons with double digit wins, 1 National Title and 1 Runner-up while at LSU. 110 wins and 32 at LSU for around a .780 winning %

I bet a lot of coaches wish they were called over rated with that record.

Other than playing in a big time conference with an easy division and being located in the most talent rich area in the US, not to mention the fact that Miami has/had the talent to win right now, I guess you're right....

If you see a tweet tonight from "Pat Forde" saying Miles has been fired it's a fake account.

Location is the only advantage left for Miami. Outside of that, the job sucks...

Which of the three things I listed were a lie? Lots of problems at Miami, but if you want a title it would be much easier there than many places.

If they had the talent you think they do, they wouldn't have been dominated by a UC team that is fighting to stay out of last place in the AAC. The job is a wreck. Face it...

The draft usually does and will disagree with you. Talent is there, sparse in some places but it would not be inconceivable for them to win 9-10 games and the Coastal next season.

I agree, but the last time Miami looked like this a dude named Howard showed up.............and what became of that.........the "U"
