November 25, 201510 yr If LSU fires Les this season it is either because they know they have Jimbo on the way or they have their heads so far up their butts they just assume that if they fire Les that Jimbo will automatically come running. Kind of like UK fans thinking that Donovan would come running to Lexington...we saw how that played out. Jimbo isn't going anywhere. He's got a dynasty forming at FSU, why would he leave?

November 25, 201510 yr All three of the champions in that time period did...Bama, FSU and OSU. Oregon did. Auburn had similar but better QB play. Maybe maybe not, it is close enough you can make an argument for LSU some of those years. Fact remains they lost at least 3 games each year.

November 25, 201510 yr The problem with Les Miles is that he is not Nick Saban. He might not be Alabama Nick Saban, but he is equal if not better than LSU Nick Saban. Saban was 48-16 during his 5 seasons at LSU. His teams lost 3+ games 4 of his 5 seasons. Over the last 5 years thus far Les Miles is 48-15 at LSU. Going into the bowl game his record at worst would be equal over the last 5 years to what Saban did while in Baton Rouge. If they think getting rid of Miles will improve the team than fine, but I don't think even if they got Saban back it would solve all their problems. LSU isn't Bama.

November 27, 201510 yr Doesn't he have the #1 class for next year? Like many have said lack of good QBs over the years is going to dig his grave. I still think it's crazy to fire him.

November 29, 201510 yr LSU is going to make a terrible mistake if they fire Les Miles. Just ask Nebraska how that stuff works out.
