This has been a good thread without too much offense given either way. But talkin' time bout done. I have noticed that when I get kinda drunk, that Mayfield usually wins. I promise the team and all the other fans I will do my part tonight.

Ok folks, here's my view for tonight's game..mayfield comes in to tonight's game on a mission..to win their first region title sense coming back into 2a..i look for them to change a few things offensively..would personally love to see coach Morris bring them out in a wishbone set, an offense his dad used with mayfield in the past..i look for a double back set with Tyler and bright rotating carries..then I look for mayfield to go to a heavy jumbo set when inside the 10..now, defensively the Cardinals will use their traditional 3 man front..i feel the defense can hang..for owensboro cathlic, their air raid attack just isn't gonna work..mayfield has tram endows speed in the secondary and great hands..i look for owensboro to try to establish the run first with hopes that mayfield will stack the box and open up one on one coverage down field..my prediction 32-21 mayfield!!

The men from Mayfield will be ready and focused following the weeks events. Even more to lay there hearts out on the field for. Watch out.

Been a fun thread... enjoyed the banter with the Mayfield Fans. Knowledgeable and passionate fans. Regardless of the outcome I hope the winner moves on to take it all. However, I'm an OC guy and I can't pick against my team. OC comes out to play and Mayfield get's a taste of the best QB in Western KY in Ray Zuberer. Should be a good one.

Has #24 for OCHS been reinstated after he was ejected Friday night? I also noticed on the KHSAA website he is listed as #31, weird.

If Arnett is hitting on all cylinders in the passing game, some of the Aces fans may want to reconsider their stance on who the best QB is.. I will say, Landon won't be playing on Saturdays, just not big enough, but, the kid has a very good arm, is accurate and typically throws it where it needs to go and has 4-5 WRs that can spread you out and take it to the house at any time..

I think Kenny Rogers (Coach Edge) will use his ace up his sleeve this week and roll on back to Steele. OC should win 48-21but will get 2 Tds called back. 34-21 will be the final

No worry at all. OC fans are just willing to debate more than most. Most know what coming to War Memorial means and dont take it as lightly as OC fans seem to.

OC has a very strong team when we went down there first game this year it was as if these guys had a whole season under their belts they were so good. However I'm going with Mayfield. They are strong every year when you think they will have an off year they win win win. Plus I would love to see them whoop up on DeSales just to show DeSales what we've gone through for years down here in 1a

Ain't that the truth, Coltpride!! We both got our hands full this week before we can worry with each other.. I imagine CAL and OB Cath relish the spoiler role, but, dang, they can both play some good football and beat that tail if you're not careful.
