November 13, 201510 yr Johnny Manziel, which was already known. Can't believe the idiot actually pulled the height card.
November 13, 201510 yr I must have missed something... What did he say? Link? They mentioned it on FIRST TAKE today... Manziel said something about he can't be expected to stand there and see the whole field as the play unfolds like taller QB's can.
November 13, 201510 yr I didn't take it as anything other than him saying why he feels more comfortable rolling out. As he gets more experience he'll get more comfortable in the pocket.

I don't see anything wrong with that. It's true. His height puts him at a disadvantage compared to taller QBs who can see more.
November 13, 201510 yr He stated a fact, he is a young QB who struggles with height. All young QB's struggle with learning the complexities of all the split coverage's and rolled coverage's of the NFL. Someone who is short is going to have an even bigger learning curve, as seeing the rotation and identifying it in the play will be more difficult. That does not mean that Johnny will not adapt and learn with time, it just means it will take him more time. I still believe in Manziel, and I will never understand why people love to hate this guy.
November 13, 201510 yr Russell Wilson is an inch shorter. He likes to get out of the pocket too though. I'd go with Drew Brees. Listed as the same height as Manziel (at least according to my Google search) and makes a ton of plays from the pocket.
November 13, 201510 yr Russell Wilson is an inch shorter. I think there's a difference in maturity as well. Mentally and physically in my opinion.
November 13, 201510 yr The biggest clown in the NFL is Greg Hardy followed closely by Roger Goodell. Manziel is just a young QB who needs to mature.

Same here.
