Seriously, it's hard not to love Heath Miller. He's blue collar and brings it the same way every game whether he is asked to block or if he's on the seam route. Stud. I hate his career is winding down and dread who will replace him, no matter who that might be.

I did read the thread most of the thread was Dalton sucks. Up until about 5 minutes left and then it switched to only His and Lewis sucks and didn't say Dalton anymore lol.

 

Numbers wise did he play great nope. However even some of his decisions were fine. The top qbs in the game don't look as accurate and make decisions they may not normally make when they are constantly pressured. So if it was simply Dalton hasn't looked as good because of the line then most people would agree. However most of the post were Dalton sucks and no mention of the line playing poor for that being the reason of him not looking as good lol

 

Now complaints with Lewis and Hue I agree with. However I think people are just tired of only hearing about the negative all the dang time. They are not perfect but they are one of the best bengal teams of all time so far. So no need for over reactions of the suck, they are the Bengals again, etc. I was frustrated too watching them kill themselves most of the day. However I also knew they still had a chance so was no need to overreact lol.

 

It's all good though. We beat the Steelers so this is a good day!

If you are too cowardly to comment in the update thread during the game then stay out of it and don't comment on what was said because if you want to sit back and play Monday morning QB after the fact, no one really cares what you think. You will never convince anyone when Dalton threw the 2nd pick in the endzone that you were actually happy about his decision there.

How about Burfict? Ended up having to play more than expected because Malauaga going down... Burfict is a beast! Can't wait til he gets in playing shape!

Burfict also showed the ability to tackle in space, oh so many times this year players would have YAC. Truly, the impact from his return will surface with more three and outs by the D because he wraps someone up and drives them into the ground. Any news on Rey Mal?

I'm as big of a Burfict fan as there is but I thought he looked slow today and just a little heavy. No where near the Vontaze Burfict we are used to seeing which is expected.

 

 

It will be interesting to see how he is in a month. Heard rumors he said his knee will never be the same so I'm hoping he is just being cautious at first and he really is t that slow.

Actually it has nothing to do with being scared. It has to do with me not needing to waste my time like others to post things in a thread just to complain all game. I actually enjoy watching with out over reacting to every little thing. The Bengals are undefeated but yet if you look at your all's comments during a game there is much more negative than positive. You would have thought they lost each game.

 

However I guess as always with us. One enjoys being upset and complaining. While the other actually enjoys watching the game and knows there will be up and down during a game. Half of the stuff you have said through the years wouldn't even be a problem and people could deal with it even better if you didn't over exaggerate every negative thing. As soon as one thing happens this guy sucks, he is worst in the league etc. Etc. No doubt the interception sucked. However it was not like that was the first time you said anything. You basically ripped Dalton all game long for everything saying how much he sucked all game long. So it has nothing to do with having a set as you say. It has to do with not over reacting to every single thing like you have always done.

Going in I had figured on this being the first loss of the season so I'm very pleased. The Bengals just keep showing a grit that is the mark of really good teams. Very exciting times.

I think people wouldn't know what to do if they couldn't complain. Just because people don't over react to every little thing that goes wrong, it doesn't mean We think the Bengals played a perfect game. It's the NFL there will be ups and downs all game long. It sucks when Bengals make stupid mistakes. However it doesn't mean should over react and say these guys suck, were back to the Bengals, etc. That is classic over reaction. It's a game and there will be highs and lows. I have no problem with people complaining about things that should be complained about like the pick in the end zone. However when you complain about every little thing then yes there is no need for that and classic over reaction and people will call someone out on it.

The story here is not that both teams played horribly, but that both defenses played amazingly. 46-40 is just as good as 16-10 in terms of overall team performance. That's just how football works.
