Edmonson's MS coach was also an assistant for the high school. A small school, such as Edmonson county, try their best to keep the same staff working with the middle school as they do the high school. As a fan and a former player for Edmonson I think this is a great hire for the team.

I didn't think it was Josh, he had said he wasn't interested in Louisville jobs. I have been told they told the staff weeks ago that they wouldn't be hiring from within and they wouldn't handle interviews yet because it was "basketball season".

30 applicants, 15 first interviews, 2 second interviews. Waiting for the end of L.I.T. tournament there to start off season conditioning with new coach possibly. Jagger's and Campos final two. Wyatt, King, Hennings, and Smith, were also applicants.

Yes. It's Crad Jaggers. He is currently at Nelson, but he did not coach last year to my knowledge.

It is entertaining to see the comments in this thread about coaches that are applying and getting jobs. Asking the question "aren't there any better candidates"?, then quantifying it by saying "no disrespect to them". Do you guys know what makes them bad candidates? Do you guys know what could make them qualified?? In their past jobs, is their record more important then the lives they changed while they were there? When you are speaking on coaches that have coached at some of the states lowest preforming schools (Shawnee, Iroquois, Doss, Western) and those coaches having to deal with kids that don't have lights, food or fresh clothes at home. They still find away to get these kids to go out and perform. How many funerals do you all think these guys have gone to or spoke at? How many times you think these guys have answered their phones at the late hours of the night to go "save" a child. I have worked for at least two of the coaches in this thread and they deserve to be head coaches. They change lives off the field and have been successful on the field with very little parent support. I learned a lot about caring and building true relationships with players from them and I may be bias but in my mid they are great leaders and are the best candidates for the jobs that they applied for. Its not all about the X's and O's, it's about saving the Jim's and Joe's.
