I thought the guy who came from Somerset in 2014 would/did do a good job, but then he left. They are in a district where they could be competitive, but it's been since the early '80s since they even sniffed success.

 

Someone who knows more about the finances of the school could probably offer some light on the subject. Maybe the money keeps people away or from staying?

What's the situation at Adair County?

 

Left on his terms to be an assistant at LWC. Good gig for someone to walk into!

How attractive is the Adair job currently? Obviously, when he took it, it wasn't even thought of as something someone would want. But, he's had plenty of success there, and leaves with a team that could easily win 10 games again.

 

It obviously doesn't have the long history of a major program, but, has their recent success been something to increase their overall value as a program?

Not to tell another man's business, but I know Stoney well enough to where I don't think he'd mind me one bit coming on here to defend him against a statement like that. He and his ex- wife split up a few years back (still have a great relationship) & she moved to Louisville for an opportunity herself which is what prompted his move to J-town.

 

She is from nearby Lincoln County (in relation to Casey) & I believe she recently has made a return there. He's moving for his son & more than likely to a place he wishes he'd never left in the first place.

I clearly don't know the story, however that does sound unfortunate.

 

Nonetheless, regardless of his personal life and issues, he should take account into his players lives. This is detrimental to a program to have 1 year coaches. These young men only have 4 years to play this game at the high school level.
