Tanner Pugh at Augusta

Featured Replies

Tanner Pugh played last year...started several games actually. There were no attitude issues. at all. Tanner quit because he wasn't happy with his role on the team. This is 100% fact.

NOTHING happened at last year's PC/Augusta game, which was at PC.Nothing. I can promise that.

Another good debate ruined with facts. :lol2:

Heard here very recently, the judge ruled in Pugh's favor, but the commissioner still has to give the final OK.

I hope the kid plays somewhere...hate to see this happen to the kid! His family is good ppl...

Would he be welcome back at PC?

Can't see why he wouldn't be.

If he's ruled eligible that really changes things for Augusta and the shape of things in the 39th.

Sounds like he or those good people did this to themselves? Can't put yourself above the team.

Hate to see a kid miss playing a sport he loves but until he becomes his own boss he has to have respect for those that are in control.

Agree 110% that's a big problem with teenagers these days. They're never wrong and think nobody can tell them what to do how to do or when to do it.

If the kid moved that's step one.

How can Pendelton or the khsaa prove it was for athletic reasons?

Do they have video or audio of the kid claming such?

I'm hoping the kid gets cleared, sounds much more ligit then others I've seen.

Size, ability, skill level? I don't know anything about the kid.

Don't believe he was the 1st kid to put himself above the TEAM...

Hope everything works out one way or the other is all....

You cannot transfer for athletic purposes...address change or not.

I absolutely understand that -- but that would mean either both of these players are eligible or neither of them is, correct?

Keep telling yourself that, DAWG.:lol2:

So, has a decision been reached yet?

Augusta received word on Tanner Pugh on Wednesday. He is eligible and practiced after school with the team.
