Who do I think will win?.......for sure SK.

 

The Pioneers will actually dominate Ryle. Not only do they have home field advantage they have the way better team advantage.

 

Tanner Morgan will get his shot at a good run next year. This year is SK's year in NKY 6A and Ryle is a bridesmaid.

Ryles front 7 is strong and can stop SK's dominant run game. The question is can Racke wing the ball downfield and have success.

 

I don't know man Racke could carry this team if it came to down to it. Kid can make things happen.

Not a chance they stop SK's run game. Their front 7 isn't that great.

Last year Ryle wasn't as good and had Simon beat. Ryle is better than they were last year. So this should be another close game.

 

SK is much better offensively this year, but not as good defensively. It would take one of the Louisville teams to put enough athletes on the defensive side of the ball to slow down this offense.

 

SK's offense is based on pre snap reads and there are multiple pass and run options in every set. Put 8 in the box against Racke and he will get 350 yds passing.

I look for a high-scoring contest decided late in the 4th quarter. It will be a battle.

I think SK wins without much, if any trouble.

I think Ryle is as talented or more talented as SK, but Ryle's philosophy of passing even when not necessary has hampered them in victories & will probably cost them the game. Ryle has (4) outstanding running backs, so they should always be fresh.

 

The problem is Tanner Morgan is highly talented & the coaching staff calls the game based on Morgan's talent rather than the smartest football move. I would pound the ball right at SK & keep my defense fresh.

 

It is not personal for me, as I believe the new coach at Ryle is a genuinely good person, but not the best play caller. Maybe I will be wrong, and Ryle uses the run game to beat SK, but I highly doubt it.

I understand what you are saying but it was just the opposite in their first loss of the year. I think they stayed with the run against a great run defense much too long and that may have cost them any chance of winning that game. They didn't start scoring until they put the ball in Morgan's hands and arm.

Then SK better start worrying because there is no way they give any of the big 3 or Scott Co a game if they can't put this one away early.

If I remember correctly didn't Cooper slow down that offense? And that with Coopets defense being on the field a lot because of their own offense not doing to much that day. So SKs offense can and had been slowed down. However it is a great offense though and it does take a great defense to even slow them down. I look for this game being a high scoring game.

Ryle has hit a few speed bumps recently, I think it will be a good game but if you make me pick the winner, have to go with SK.

Who cares, one of them will end up Scott Co's rug anyway.

In previous years , I would have conceded to Scott County. I'm not sure about this year. This SK team can score in bunches.
