I realize I won't change your opinion and that is ok with me but I will make one last statement. Production doesn't lie. I can almost agree overall LB speed may be down slightly but Carter is faster than either Deaton or Hicks. Enjoy the Caramel corn I have a bag every week.

 

 

Last years linebackers where studs but so are this years. Rider and Finnell are two big run stuffers both in the 215 to 220 pound range.

Not putting heads on a platter but as you all know it's a lot of Xs and Os and as in the Cooper game the best team did not win but the team with the bigger heart and the coaching staff that made adjustments thru out found something that worked and stuck with it . You can not compare this years game to last as for Powell it was his first game back from injury , it was very wet so Ryle was able to just load the box and Wolfe at LB made at least 6 different touch down saving tackles that kept Powell from going to the house !!! And if not for a very close knee called down on a punt that put Ryle back inside the 10 SK most likely don't win that game ..... But at the end of the day players win games and coaches lose them

The only player Ryle truly has at a position better than Cooper is Morgan at QB.

 

TCA is a better back than any of the Ryles stable of backs when healthy. Hendrix is a better WR than any and all of Ryles receivers and Coopers defense all over the field are better than Ryles defense. The better team won.

Difference in Ryle and Coopers game was the fact Cooper had a better D line than Ryle had O line. And the two fumbles late in the game the Cooper capitalized on! Cooper played better that night. They play again, who knows! Some of you people have no clue. Morgan 18-25 171 yards 1 td. He had several balls dropped and one reception was fumbled after a large gain. Brown played well, 13-30 220 1 td 1 int. Not sure those numbers say Brown outplayed Morgan. Also plenty of those yards came after the Ryle DB #3 covering #8 for Cooper went down with injury. That was a turning point in the game for Cooper.

Ryle will have to play much better friday thats for sure. I think SK is going to be a tough hill to climb for them, but I have seen this team play some good football this year. Will be a fun game to watch as was the Cooper game!

Ryle has a back averaging almost 8 per carry, but still insist on using other ones. Through last weeks stats England had 56 carries. That's about 1/3 of what Powell has, and there is simply no excuse for that. SKs weakness in in the run D, there's no Hicks/Marksberry/Deaton on the front 7. I would give it to #7 30 times. If they lose they lose, but that's their shot. SK is the better team, think this one lands around 27-14.

 

I disagree,, I do not think Ryle's line is good enough to pound the ball at anyone. I think if you want to take advantage of England's size,, put him in the slot. That puts him against a safety sitting back about 10 yards. That will give him time to get moving. In their current offense, defenses are on him before he can get going. That is what Cooper did to him and I expect more of the same since SK is bigger than Cooper.

To be fair for Morgan, even that game he was better than N Brown who i really like, but Morgan still had a better game throwing. His accuracy is a lot better and arm strength is much stronger.

 

Brown had a great game with Hendrix but was still under 50% passing that night with an int.

If they use England in the slot like they did some against Conner then there is a matchup right there that can give SK some problems. If you double him in coverage that will leave Ryle's best athlete open all day long with their TE, I forget his name, so excuse me for that, but he is a play maker with great hands. With their TE and England running routes, that is one matchup that Ryle can take advantage of.

He is much more explosive in the open field and being a receiver he is just that, out in the open field catching passes. He is much easier to contain when he is running up the middle as a RB because you can gang tackle him as he runs between the tackles. Harder to gain tackle a receiver out in the open.

 

Against Conner England had less receptions than carries but he had more yards receiving and by a lot.

England avg'd over 10 yards a reception but averaged less than a yard per carry against Conner.
