How so? Lights out defense would be shutouts. How is giving up 27 and 34 the last two weeks lights out?

I keep reading Ryle struggled last week. The whole teamed played well. With the exception of dropping 5 passes (3 of which could have gone for scores) in the first half, they played great. They made up for that by coming back for 14-14 tie at half. Morgan's only bad play was a INT on a screen play. I argue that it was a better play by the Defensive lineman reading and picking it off. Yes they struggled with the dropped passes. But they fixed that in the 2nd half. Ryle had their LT Chase Ross out with a high ankle sprain suffered during the Cooper game. They brought a Sophomore in to start for him and he played outstanding, pushing Conner DT's allover the field.

I'm not sure what game or what film you watched, but Brown and the entire Jaguar team outplayed Ryle that night. Statistically, and physically Brown (a first year QB) looked slightly better in this game, especially in the the second half. Not taking anything away from Morgan because he is a very good QB, but don't take away from Brown's performance with excuses about injuries and dropped passes. If you watch the film, you will see that the Jaguars had several dropped passes as well. It happens....make the next play! I believe #8 for Cooper is leading the state in receiving, you're simply not going to stop him ALL night.

I would have to disagree.

 

The better team won that game, not just the better coaches.

 

The only player Ryle truly has at a position better than Cooper is Morgan at QB.

 

TCA is a better back than any of the Ryles stable of backs when healthy. Hendrix is a better WR than any and all of Ryles receivers and Coopers defense all over the field are better than Ryles defense. The better team won.

To be fair for Morgan, even that game he was better than N Brown who i really like, but Morgan still had a better game throwing. His accuracy is a lot better and arm strength is much stronger.

Good thing you're not a QB scout. We are discussing Ryle and SK here. So let's talk about their players and accuracy rates and types of routes and all that good stuff. Brown does not need your approval of whether he played better that night or not. As #56 said, he lead the team and got the "dub". Move on GF

Relax. He didn't "dis-credit" anyone. If I say Halle Berry is hotter than Scarlet Johansson it doesn't mean ScoJo isn't hot. Kid is a nice QB. He's not as talented as Morgan.

How did I discredit N Brown? I've done nothing but praise him this entire season. If saying Morgan had better passing numbers than Brown in that game is discrediting Brown simply because I went straight off the factual stats of the game then you need a chill pill. Take a deep breath and relax. I understand you are VERY close to N Brown, so don't take anything said about him as a diss. He's done great this year, that doesn't mean he has to be the best QB in every game.

I do agree with you, but I will say one thing in defense of N. Brown. 80% of Morgan's completions that game were within 7 yards, and Ryle did not attempt to stretch the field as much as Cooper did with Brown.

 

But with all of that being said Morgan's numbers were still a little bit better than Brown's.

I think it's you that needs to move on. You apparently can not read any post with an unbiased look at it. N Brown is doing just fine, don't over think or over analyze these posts because clearly you have misunderstood all of them.

I am very chill. What I mean about move on is stop hijacking threads to discuss the Jaguars. This is about Ryle and SK. Start a thread on Nky QB comparison and we can go in depth there if you like. Tony Romo has had the best stats in the NFL for a couple of years, but that doesn't make him the best. I'm just saying. This is exactly why I usually choose to not discuss things about individual players and their stats. I like to keep it to X and Os Wins and losses.

Do you even read the posts or the ones I reply to? I was replying to a post about the Cooper Ryle game thank you very much, I wasn't the one who brought that game up in the first place. If you rather not talk about individual players then don't reply to posts where players are being discussed and move on.

Getting back to the Ryle vs Sk prediction... I see a high scoring game with SK winning 42-37. I don't see Ryle stopping the SK run game.
