Have no idea. I try to avoid that shopping center like the plague. And in my book "two lanes" is kind of misleading. You're still in single file until you get up to the split order boxes, then get back in single file. I don't think it's really any faster, at least at MickieD's.

 

Does the Chic-Fil-A have two completely separate lanes with two pickup windows?

I just now realized this was an old thread. I was gonna say that it doesn't seem like McDonald's is in bad shape to me. :lol2:

 

 

I also don't buy the narrative that they were losing customers. 1K new McDonald's customer is born everyday. From the ages of 4-20 McDonald's is the #1 restaurant. I eat McDonalds maybe twice a month. My kids eat it twice a week I bet.

Breakfast is always going to be popular with the public. For many, like me, it's their favorite meal of the day. This was a good move by McDonald's.

The Golden Coral has an all day breakfast menu, too. I always sample it when we eat at the ones in Richmond or Winchester.

I am pretty sure breakfast had nothing to do with this considering it just started.

Stock jumped based on increased fourth quarter sales and profit numbers that were just released and exceeded expectations. Short term results impact stock a lot more than they should.

You must have lucked out or maybe the one there in WB is doing it right cause recent history for me has been McD's fries are not anywhere near what they used to be, and sometimes have actually been inedible.

A couple months ago, I decided to check out Golden Corral for myself. On a Sunday, I arrived around 1pm looking for breakfast. As expected, they had a limited amount of breakfast items, but at a Sunday brunch/dinner price (which is much higher than breakfast). I won't do that again.

I don't know...I never really experience bad fried amd McDonald's. That's why I keep going back.

McDs increased same store sales by 5.7% which is two times higher than expected. All-day breakfast was the driver.

 

 

They buy over 2B eggs per year. 5% of the country's eggs.

McDonald's Fries used to be one thing you could always count on. But locally at least the quality has really dropped over the last year or so. They are so small that they don't hold any heat in and are cold within just a few moments. I think they have changed either the oil or cook time or something as they in some cases (at least locally) don't seem completely cooked.
