Very underrated in Class A is Will Pope, a very athletic senior to be at Harlan.

Are you serious?

I look for both Austin Hill and Rashaad Palmer to be big playmakers out at the WR position this year. AUstin is big (6'3, 200 lbs) and should be able to out jump many of the corners in nky and Rashaad is just a playmaker all around. With Jefferson having a year of experience under his belt, i look for both of these guys to have big numbers this year.

Drew McDavid (if he plays that position) from Ashland would be one of the best in the state along with Luke Bonner.

From Mason County you will have 6'6" junior Darius Miller. Darius has outstanding hands, he is sneaky fast and obviously you have the fact he is 6'6". On the other side you have Tony Browning, 6'3", sr. very fast, great hands and probably one of the best athletes on Mason County's team. They make a great combination for the Royals.

Raceland in class A have lost their two top recievers from last year to graduation, (Chris Lacks will be going to the next level as a wide out at Campbellsville and Thomas Tolliver will bve going to Transy on a baseball Scholly)I do believe that they have some younger kids that can step in and help and may move some kids that were in other positons last year around, only time will tell.

The Dutton twins will methodically run great routes, and then bang one deep on you. They were on our 4 X 100, and 4 X 400 teams as sophomores...they are so fast, and the beauty of it is that there is TWO OF THEM.

Double the touchdowns, double the fun.

For those who don't know, all of these guys play for Holmes. Just thought the good people might want to know what school these great receivers play for. IMO, you can't go wrong with the 2 kids out at CovCath as far as NKY goes. Look for one of the young Dixie receivers to step up and have a big one this year as well. I can't remember the young man's name, but he's tall(about 6'4) and pretty lanky, and looked pretty impressive last year. Tall and lanky, I'm sure that narrows it down for you Sandman  (I think he wore 80 something if that helps).

I guess the Rock fans will get a good look at these two next week when CovCath comes down to Marshall for a 7 on 7 scrimmage.:thumb:

Question is, who will be getting him the ball? He had an awesome QB working with him last season.

There's only 1 Justin Burke but I'd take Caldwell as a pure WR over any in the state that I've seen. Minnifield is a heck of an athlete too.

Lex Cath will have one of the best RB's in the state and some of the best atheltes in Revere, Guy etc. Their QB is above average and surrounded by arguably the best skill kids in the state.

Sophomore #34 Da'lin Farr of M'boro has all the tools (great hands and speed) to be one of the best WR's not only In EKY but the whole State.

Thanks old raider :thumb: i knew i was forgetting to put that when i typed it

Dan Passifume, Will Simmons, Vic Anderson, and Matt McClendon will provide great downfield targets for St. X. QB's Zoeller, Wade, and Hall this season. Look for the Tigers to challenge defenses on both land and air in 2006. :thumb:

Brian Hubbard from Leslie Co.

He is a dandy! He plays the game at full speed and is fun to watch! :thumb:
