Wide Recievers to watch out for in '06

Dan Passifume, Will Simmons, Vic Anderson, and Matt McClendon will provide great downfield targets for St. X. QB's Zoeller, Wade, and Hall this season. Look for the Tigers to challenge defenses on both land and air in 2006. :thumb:

Yeah with that high powered passing attack you have...:sssh:

Double the touchdowns, double the fun.

Logan Baker from South Laurel, he's really come into his own and will be a major valve to the heart of the offense at South this year.

Absolutely! Logan is a great kid who plays the game at full speed! I have loved watching him play since middle school and thought he was overshadowed by Marcum and Bingham. But this year, he will be one of the main go to guys for the Cardinals and he will deliver!!! :thumb:

I guess the Rock fans will get a good look at these two next week when CovCath comes down to Marshall for a 7 on 7 scrimmage.:thumb:

When will this be held, and at what time? I'd like to watch.

Chase Minnifield, Aaron Boyd, and Clark Jeter are all good ones for Henry Clay.

Thought Boyd may follow in big bro's footsteps and play under center or in the new O, shotgun. Who will play QB?

T fans 2 questions. 1. Where is McBroom? 2. Where are Orndorff, Donnell, and Switzer going to school next year?

R.D. Reynolds - North Bullitt - 6'2" 195 lb Junior -- A great receiver as well as a great free safety. In playoff game, last season vs. Southwestern, Reynolds scored TD running, passing, and on a 50 yd INT return. Will be one of the best athletes in 3A this season and next.

McBroom is at Georgetown....

Donnell may walk on at UL....Orndorff don't know...Switzer, don't know.

My favorite, Craig Kircher...is going to UK, but will not play football, which is rather disappointing to me.

I'm not a T alum and it disappoints me too. They're such talented kids, but I guess football isn't all that life has to offer. Is McBroom a starter, playing? Got to watch Orndorff on senior day at Lou. Thought he would have a McBroom like season, but I guess there are other factors. He's blazing fast. Saw a kid play 18 yds off him and still got beat on a go pattern within 50 yds. Someone should sign this kind of speed. The freshman petrino last year looked good too.

I honestly don't recall seeing anyone who could cover McBroom one on one, ever.

Didn't think after seeing Orndorff at UofL that anyone could cover him one on one either. I remember McBroom and will for quite sometime, as well as anybody else here in Lex. that saw him against PLD. The guy was flat out faster than anyone in the city on that day. This includes UK athletes. Plus he ran the sharpest routes too. Is there another kid like him coming up in the Shamrock program?

Drew McDavid from Ashland will be a great one, if he does not play QB. He probaly will be playing QB but he will be great wherever he plays.

Ox, it looks like there is a new Junior name to add to your list of wide receivers: BRINKMAN. While I don't think 7on7 is REEL football I saw this kid make 12 to 15 catches yesterday in X's first game against Eastern. 2 for TD's and 2 for PAT's. His success was equally as good in to the next 2 games as well, even after the Seniors returned from taking their ACT's/SAT's.

He did the same thing in the Tuesday night league games at Waggner. Looks like this kid has very good hands and knows how to get himself in position to make use of those hands.

Orndorff has said he will play at UofL as a preferred walk-on and Switzer will be a preferred walk-on at UK. I also heard McBroom is playing running back and Georgetown.
