I've not seen either team play this year. Should be a great grid iron battle!

Just think it's interesting that this could be the game of the week between 2 2 win teams this late in the season. In years past I don't think anyone would have predicted this. Have fun to both teams.

 

I predict CCH to finally end the drought.

I have brothers and brothers in law who want to attend the game. They are all CCH alums which tells me they like their chances. Of course they were eager to attend last year too which I keep reminding them.

Park Hills will be packed... it is funny that both teams have only 2 wins. but it will probably be the game of the week. they are both "down" and seem to be equal, bitter rivals, its hard to look away from this game.

I think the only thing stopping CovCath from beating Highlands is the mental aspect.

If Highlands wins, I feel it will be due to Hergott having a big game. CovCath has had all sorts of issues defending the pass. If Highlands sticks to just screens and deeper routes, CovCath will be ok and run for about 300 yards on offense. Hergott looks good on hitches, curls, quicker read stuff and CovCath struggles to tackle in space. That is what my thinking would be going in.

 

CovCath will do what they do. Lots of motion, dives, ball fakes. Eddie is the ultimate gambler so he will use all 4 of his downs. Maile could have a huge game total offense wise. This is pretty even, but I see CovCath controlling clock and field position all game. I say 28 to 17 CC.

I think CovCath should win this one, but they tend to make big mistakes that just make you scratch your head. If they turn the ball over against Highlands and blow coverages like they have to some of the other teams they have played, Highlands will win. That being said, I will predict a close one. CovCath 28-24

After seeing both teams very early in the season, I predicted Covington Catholic would win this one this year. I will stick with my prediction and go with the Colonels by two touchdowns. I believe Covington Catholic's line play will be the difference in the game.
