I believe this is Cov Cath's best chance they have in awhile with Highlands struggling a bit this year. Should be a good game. I'm taking CCH

I would say because Highlands hasn't lost this many/this bad in any of the last so many years.

I guess you are right Highlands is down this year.And cov-cath is up with big wins over beechwood and grant co.

When was the last time Highlands lost to 3 NKY teams in the same season. And not just lost, but not really been competitive. That is why I think Cov Cath feels they have the best chance to win in a long time.

 

That being said, I think Highlands wins in a nail biter.

Predicting a defensive clinic. Birds forced a handful of turnovers against Dixie to help their offense and control the ball and clock. CovCath beat BW only allowing 21 points to a team that hung an average of 50 on opponents. Should be a hard fought game. Whoever can control the line and keep mistakes to a minimum will eeek out a win. My thoughts, HHS by 7

Highlands was competitive with Ryle and Cooper both. The score of the games were not an indication of how the games were played. This game will be decided by how the offense of each team plays IMO.

And this is why Cov Cath thinks they have a chance. When was the last time you made a statement that Highlands was competitive against Cooper and Ryle? The fact Cov Cath feels they have a chance this year has more to do with Highlands being down than Cov Cath thinking they are unbeatable.

I can't imagine the nerves for both coaches, the mafias will be fired up after this one. With both teams being down, it's a catch 22, you can't lose to a down team.

If Highlands wins, its because CCH won't let themselves win. They were more than capable of beating them last year. But they got ahead of themselves each game. They were so convinced that they were better than Highlands last year. I even told the QB (Waggs) last year in class that we were in a different league from them and he fully agreed. Judging by the scores and ranks, this seemed true. CCH beat CC 42-14. Highlands beat CC 28-13. CCH beat Dixie 41-7. Highlands beat Bryan Station 47-41. But that proved to be wishful thinking. Stats don't mean everything. CCH got way too ahead of themselves and we left an utter funeral. I left with my brother and friends being mocked by drunk HHS fans (we just laughed). It would be no different for Highlands if CCH wins. Because the Colonel Crazies have a knack for being very arrogant. But I was reminded that you can't judge teams only by rank and stats. And as obvious as it is, you cant underestimate any team.
