Cubs @ Pirates Wildcard

Featured Replies

I'm actually looking forward to this game tonight. My dad and grandfather are big cubs fans, I want them to see a world series. Anyone else secretly pulling for the Cubs?

No secret about it. I'd rather see the Cubs win this one than Pirates. Although, I will probably not be tuning in.

I'm really excited for tonight. Not sure who I want to win but the game itself should be great. Arrieta has allowed 4 runs since August 1st... He's been tweeting at Pitt fans that he wants it loud and I'm sure they'll deliver.

I'm nervous and excited. I've always thought when the Cubs win it all it'd have to be a year we weren't expected to do a lot and we we were to young to realize how big the moment was...#letsgo #flytheW

The Cubs have always been one of my least favorite teams, but this group of guys is hard to hate. A bunch of young talent and a heck of a manager playing some really good baseball. I hope they win tonight

I am rootiing for the Bucs but the thing that sucks it that they both need to throw their ace which is a significant disadvantage to whoever plays St. Louis next.

Never...

I don't mind the Cubs playing the Pirates as the two wild cards...just hate the fact that the winner has to go play St. Louis afterwards. Wish this was an instance where they followed the NFL's scenario, and avoid having division opponents play each other until the championship series.

Cubs last WS win was in 1908 which was 107 years ago.

First pitch date and time for tonight's game - 10/7 at 19:08 central time.

Can we all agree that whoever wins, had better beat the Cards in the next series.

Well with this and the Back to the Future prediction, it seals it. Cubs are winning it all. :lol2:

I'll be cheering for the Cubs to win it all. That no doubt means they lose tonight. :lol2:

I'd love to see the Cubs get a win for my boy Rocket however I have way too many facebook friends that are Cubs fans and completely unbearable. So I'm going to have to hope they go down.

The Cubs can't win. Isn't today supposed to be the end of the world anyway?

I hope they fight before it's over!
