No, I agree it would build some confidence, but I also said 2 weeks ago the confidence would be overthinking it a bit because many on here will think wining 3 of the last 4 will make them think they will make it to BG and nothing could be further from the truth.

I am not saying they are one dimensional. I am saying they have very good running backs and need to play to their strength. Yes, they need to throw the ball some to keep the defense honest but by far the best part of Dixie's team is their running backs. Play to your strength, control the clock and minimize number of possessions.

When the QB goes to pass and is pressured Int"s or in completions have been the result. Trying to move the pocket has not helped much. When pressured he is better off running the ball. Also, can't have the defender hitting the running back before he reaches the line of scrimmage.

 

This is why you play the tough schedule at the beginning of the year to expose issues that need to be addressed.

The HHS O-line is a unit that historically makes great strides throughout the season. I have to admit I did not think it would be the case this year with the three returning starters.

How silly all of you experts in HS football will feel when HHS runs thru the district and goes deep in the playoffs.I say this because all of the teams in this district are far from power houses.I will put HHS past playing experience in championship and one and done games over the other teams.The only good game will be CCH for they have played a tuff schedule like the birds.
