I'm saying that school officials in both cases over reacted. I'm also saying that our President is only acknowledging this incident because of the ethnicity of the student. Had this kid's name been John Smith, Obama would probably be praising school officials for their vigilance.

If you have a problem with Obama's response then the best thing I can say is be glad that you have never been a minority in this country. Be glad that you have never had to endure the feeling of being looked at as less than a human or differently because of the color of your skin. Be grateful. Because when it happens and you bring it to people's attention that it happened you will be looked at even worse. You become even more of a "troublemaker", "problem" or an "issue".
