Maybe by the end of the season these will be more accurate, but as of now they are so far off its not worth reading.

Russell should in the top 15 of 3A and they aren't even listed. These are terrible.

I wish I had this printed so I could fold it up and wipe with it

Note at the bottom of the top 25 - if a team has not played 2 in state opponents they are not in the rankings. Russell is on the list, along with Trinity, Pulaski County, Johnson Central, et. al.

Chuckle, yeah I was about to join in the complaints until I spied that disclaimer.

But later in the season these become pretty solid

Unless you are a nationwide computer rating, like CalPreps or Maxpreps, state computers (LIT for the CJ, Cantrall for the LHL) should probably wait until Week 7 (each team has played at least five games, no team has played more than six).

More data equals better results, at least theoretically.

I'm assuming by the end of the year, MaxPreps, CalPreps, LHL Cantrall and CJ Litkenhous will be fairly similar.

It's not that horrible now. The problem

people have is because so many teams are left out due to not playing enough in state opponents yet.

Did anyone notice Cantrall didn't even have Johnson Central LISTED in his 4A rankings

such an idiot, no wonder except for cent and northern Ky that he's always partial to, no one else takes him seriously.

Read the disclaimer at the bottom

Lol.

That's what people say every year.

Hell, I pick the super bowl winner every year the day after the game.

Besides what people have already said, these are ratings, not rankings. It's really hard for a series of algorithms and numbers to be "partial".
