His past history and contents of cash/weed in the car have nothing to do with that happened.

I agree.

Exactly

His family has already came out and said that Sam was the most caring and thoughtful person out there and would never flee the Authorities and was turning his life around. Why would anyone label him any different than what is being told to us. There is noway that CPD would disguise any of Sam's past. Or would they? Again, I agree that his past has absolutely nothing to do with what happened to Dubose that tragic Sunday afternoon. The U.C. cop was very wrong and improperly trained.

It actually could. If he had over 60 encounters with the law, he may have been "known" by the cops. Say some of the stops had occurred in the car he was driving so when they ran the 'plate', if the car had had weed or dead bodies in the past. the defense may be able to use this info in their case to say why the cop may have been a little on edge or over defensive during the stop?

After sitting thru that court case last week, you would be surprised what both parties bring to the table.

In my attorney voice: Let's stipulate that's what happened.

That says why you pulled him over.

Is that enough to justify the shooting? Was the officer's live in danger?

Defense attorney has a tough one.

His hunch could have landed him a big bust if he didn't freak out after Dubose blinked.

UC cops no longer allowed to make traffic stops off campus.

The trial date is earlier than expected.

11.16.15

Defense attorney will ask for the trial to be moved but he doesn't expect that it will.

I think it was posted fairly quickly

Correct. $100k

Does Ohio have Bail Bondsmen or is it the same system as Kentucky on bond?

Trial is set for 10.24.

was there a shooting on or near campus yesterday?

Just saw UC cops will no longer pull over anyone for minor violations. Good or bad ?
