Well we know Clinton wasn't gay.

Nor was Jack Kennedy.

It is fairly commonly believed that James Buchanan was more than likely gay. He was often described as being quite effeminate, and was said to have had a "special relationship" with William Rufus King (who later became Franklin Pierce's VP). Buchanan was engaged at one point in time before becoming President, but his fiancee broke it off and dies soon afterwards. He never entertained any other relationship with a women for the remainder of his life.

For what it's worth, Buchanan was a Democrat.

King was VP before Buchanan was in office. Not later.

Always interesting to read what skeletons may lie in the past.

First swinger President?

First swinger President?

My man Bill knew how to use his Presidential powers.

I think Clinton was a try-sexual.

If Alexander the Great can rule Macedonia like he did, I think America can get a homosexual elected.

But in that era, Democrats were the conservatives!

Our mayor in Lexington is gay. I don't see a big deal.

I think it's more likely we had a swinger president than a gay president, and I'd also guess there's been more than one. Kennedy, Jefferson, LBJ, and FDR are just a few of those that pretty much are accepted as having had at least one documented affair.

Would Hillary's affair with Yoko Ono count if she's elected ??

Not a president, but hasn't it always been rumored that Eleanor Roosevelt was?
