Sharing beds was fairly common, especially when traveling, since rooms were often rare and a shared bed meant warmth in homes, inns, or taverns that were rarely warm.

With gay marriage legal it's almost certain that everyone will become gay. No one will reproduce anymore and our population will cease to exist.
