Did the Media after the show last night ask Jenner's kids what they thought about their Dad or Mom? Everyone in the Media refers to Jenner as a woman. It's "she this. she that". Personally, drives me crazy. Just curious how Jenner's kids respond to him. You know, that phone call, "Hi Da, errrr I mean Mom, wait what, I mean.....forget it, how are you doing today"?
July 16, 201511 yr While I am on board with Jenner's decision to come out as transgender, you are fooling yourself if you do not think it was calculated by the Jenner team and ABC/ESPN to be awarded at the ESPYs before the transgender reveal. Too coincidental that Jenner reveals herself to Diane Sawyer with ABC, and in the immediate aftermath was announced she would be given the courage award... on ABC. Fine by me for both parties, but I can't hammer people for saying this is all a publicity stunt. Maybe it was just a coincidence and I don't know how true it is, but I read on Twitter that after Jenner's acceptance speech the first commercial shown was supposedly for the new reality series that she stars in....:idunno:

If I woke up one morning and decided I was a dog, people would call me mentally ill. Bruce Jenner decided he was a woman, even though he is a man, so he is also mentally ill. Agree or disagree?

Anybody that wants/chooses to do something to themselves like that...isn't right in some form or fashion. JMO.

While callous, it's not really wrong. It's called gender dysphoria or gender identity disorder in the DSM-V. (To my knowledge there is no such disorder relating to ethnicity or animals or whatever people put here.) Treatment options are either loading up on anti-depressants and coping or seeking gender re-assignment/identity change. I can't work myself up over people with identifiable problems seeking solutions for them.

Disagree. You don't just want to become a woman. Something hormonal is going on to feel more comfortable associating one's self with the other sex. It is much more complicated than wanting to be an animal.
July 16, 201511 yr I want to say that I don't care about any of this in terms of getting frustrated or upset with a person making this decision. It is their life and their right. I do have a problem calling her heroic for the decision b/c let's face it, in La La Land anything goes. A heroic transgender is the one who isn't famous and sitting on MILLIONS already and knows that he/she is going to lose much of what they love (certain family, friends, jobs etc.). Additionally, it is also NOT wrong to be uncomfortable seeing a man in the middle of this. I support Transgender rights to be free from discrimination, however, it makes me uncomfortable being around a man dressed as a woman. Key West has two really big bars on Duvall where drag shows are performed. It was awkward for me. I don't feel that I need to apologize for that. Reading articles makes it feel like I am supposed to.
July 16, 201511 yr I agree with Habib. It is too bad it has to become such a media circus...which is probably what Br'Caitlyn wants anyway. And is exactly why I've done just about everything to avoid paying attention to this whole thing. Everyone in the Kardashian clan seems to be about nothing more than getting publicity.
