July 16, 201511 yr While callous, it's not really wrong. It's called gender dysphoria or gender identity disorder in the DSM-V. (To my knowledge there is no such disorder relating to ethnicity or animals or whatever people put here.) Treatment options are either loading up on anti-depressants and coping or seeking gender re-assignment/identity change. I can't work myself up over people with identifiable problems seeking solutions for them. Do a quick Google search on "Species Dysphoria." It's scary.
July 16, 201511 yr I heard a guy on a call in show this morning that had a convincing argument... He said: Bruce Jenner was born a man so he is biologically a man. If I woke up one morning and decided I was a dog, people would call me mentally ill. Bruce Jenner decided he was a woman, even though he is a man, so he is also mentally ill. Agree or disagree? Disagree! Sportscenter has posted a picture of Jenner with the following caption: "Trans people deserve something vital. They deserve your respect. -Caitlyn Jenner " I am confused. Who the heck ever said different? And don't all people deserve respect? Yes, ALL people do deserve respect. But all you need to do is glance at this thread to see the disturbing fact that transgenders do not get respect, which in my opinion is the only disturbing thing, not someone wanting to be the opposite sex. People may or may not agree with Jenner, or on what Jenner did this. But, listen to Jenner's message during the show, listen and only concentrate on the message, not Jenner.

Just like I don't respect the DECISION for my girlfriends youngest daughter to smoke cigarettes, in the same fashion I don't have to respect the decision of someone who decides to supposedly "transform" themselves into something they aren't, especially if it goes against everything I believe in. Doesn't mean I hate that person or like them less, means I don't respect their actions on that particular event/subject.

July 17, 201511 yr How is it that Caitlin Jenner receives the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at the ESPYs awards? Espy's are a joke anyway. This just proves it even more.
July 17, 201511 yr Maybe it was just a coincidence and I don't know how true it is, but I read on Twitter that after Jenner's acceptance speech the first commercial shown was supposedly for the new reality series that she stars in....:idunno: I've seen commercials before but after watching the replay tonight, it was shown right after the speech.
August 23, 201511 yr Flicking thru the stations this morning and Married with Children is on. 1996 season 10. "Torch Song Duet" is on. Several people in the epidsode ask Darcy if she is Bruce Jenner. Maybe they knew something a little earlier than we did?
