Luke Warmwater Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Do any of my fellow members do any kind of prepping? I personally have a "get home bag" in my truck and also a "bug out bag" at my residence. I'm interested to see what new stuff is out there. I will be attending the Cincinnati Preparedness Expo this weekend.
Colonels_Wear_Blue Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Not gonna lie...I have no clue what you're talking about...at all.
Jim Schue Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 The first thing I grab is the gun. I'll figure the rest out as I go along. After that I'll improvise.
littleluck55 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Depending what the pending doom is, I may prepare to put a bullet in my head. No way I live thru a zombie apocalypse. Or if I don't have beer or cable.
mcpapa Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I try to prep my food per the instructions. Other than that, I guess not.
se7ens Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Here's how I feel about prepping: the small population who does it will eventually be laughing at us. That may be 10 years, 100 years, a 1000 years, who knows, but one day something will happen. But personally, to quote Mary Chapin Carpenter, I'll take my chances.
UKMustangFan Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 I bet Mtn Ref could give us all some tips on this....:lol2:
spindoc Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Prepping. I make sure my spare is inflated. That about covers it.

I'm interested to see what new stuff is out there. I will be attending the Cincinnati Preparedness Expo this weekend. I don't. However, I was talking to a Ham Radio buddy of mine recently. We didn't get to finish the conversation but in short we all would need a way to communicate and Ham Radio is probably that way. My question for you Luke is what plans do you and the other preppers have in place for those of us (which is most of us) that are going to need your help and guidance if/when a scenario ever comes to fruition?

I will be ready. Just give me the address of my new best friend, MTN Ref. My people and I will be heading his way.
hoops5 Posted May 29, 2015 Posted May 29, 2015 Actually we do have a lot of water piled up in our basement. Lots of batteries and flash lights too. My my mom used to always say that if anything happened, everyone packs up all food they have on hand and head up to their lake house in northern Wisconsin.
