Boyle County 60 Lexington Catholic 59 (Sweet 16 First Round)

Featured Replies

What I've seen in the last few years out of fans, relatives, cousins, moms an dads of fellow players is very sad. I honestly don't know where its going to end.

I hope the Bell family was able to find a nice quite place off to the side to watch their son. :(

Trust me, NOBODY is that bold to say anything around them. They'll mumble but they won't say a word to any one of them where they can hear it. They know better.

That is an impressive win. Wish I could have been there to see the comeback.

I will say this and I am on to Ballard...... I love this team. I love this staff. I love the true Boyle fans. This is a special team from top to bottom and if folks can't get behind the WHOLE team the take off your black and gold and don't come back.

And that isn't meant to anyone on BGP. That's for the fair weather fans and coaches in the stands who found school spirit all of a sudden. We don't need you.......

Where's Joker?

Quit following to tune in to some NCAA games.

Why would Boyle fans be talking bad about Bell? That I don't get.

Welcome to "he aint from here"," hes taking time away from my baby", "he needs to pass more" smalltown ky. Luckily those opinions do not matter. Go 45th, Go Rebs

Elkins early foul trouble handcuffed him the whole game, Tyler just never seemed to find his groove and Boyle still advanced. Mr. Jeremiah Bell came to play today.

I was in a section close to a small group of Boyle fans who very obviously did not care for Bell at all, one guy in particular was just ripping on him every single time he touched the ball. But Bell was a beast today. In the first half he kept Boyle within shouting distance and kept the game from getting out of hand. He ran the point for all 32 minutes for a team that only committed 2 turnovers the entire game. His penetration was the ONLY offense Boyle could seem to muster for the first 27 minutes of the game.

With about 2 minutes left, the fans next to us were still blasting the kid every time he touched the ball, my uncle who had driven in from Indiana, and who hadn't seen a Boyle game in years turned to me and said, "all that kid has done is put them in a position to win this game, for my money if it comes down to 1 possession for the win, I'm giving him the ball, telling him to take it to the rack, and I'll take my chances"

2 minutes later, as we watched my uncle become a prophet, the guys next to us finally ran out of negativity to shout at the kid.

For real? Bell has been a beast all season long. That's ridiculous.

What a game..what a comeback !!!!! Jeremiah Bell carried Boyle Co throughout most of the game and then Hagen got going in crunch time like he always seems to do. He is just clutch!! So Is JB. Those boys showed great heart and fortitude to come back and win that game. I got a feeling that after this week Bell will start hearing from colleges more. Why he hasn't gotten more attention is beyond me. Bell and Tyler are the best backcourt in the state IMO. Yes I'm biased but there's not many guards who can do the things they do knowing the defense is always geared to stopping them. And your not going to find 2 more clutch players then Jeremiah Bell and Hagen Tyler. GO REBELS !##

SIDE NOTE: this team broke the record for most wins in a season held by the '98 team (my senior year). Congrats and this team will go down as one of the best ever at Boyle County

Tyler Dunk, and Robbins- man rebound and put back, put Boyle in the position to win the game. Good job Boyle, we are as good as anyone, let's prove it again tomorrow.

Lex Cath fans were surprised too, especially the ones already standing in line to buy next game tickets!!

Seen one LC fan that had 10 tickets to tonights game for sale in front of the ticket office last night after the Boyle comeback. Said he never thought they would have lost to Boyle after 3 quarters and went ahead a bought tickets to beat the rush after the game.
