Elkins early foul trouble handcuffed him the whole game, Tyler just never seemed to find his groove and Boyle still advanced. Mr. Jeremiah Bell came to play today.

I was in a section close to a small group of Boyle fans who very obviously did not care for Bell at all, one guy in particular was just ripping on him every single time he touched the ball. But Bell was a beast today. In the first half he kept Boyle within shouting distance and kept the game from getting out of hand. He ran the point for all 32 minutes for a team that only committed 2 turnovers the entire game. His penetration was the ONLY offense Boyle could seem to muster for the first 27 minutes of the game.

With about 2 minutes left, the fans next to us were still blasting the kid every time he touched the ball, my uncle who had driven in from Indiana, and who hadn't seen a Boyle game in years turned to me and said, "all that kid has done is put them in a position to win this game, for my money if it comes down to 1 possession for the win, I'm giving him the ball, telling him to take it to the rack, and I'll take my chances"

2 minutes later, as we watched my uncle become a prophet, the guys next to us finally ran out of negativity to shout at the kid.

Told you so. Hagen Tyler can't be stopped.

With the change at Northern KY will Tyler re-open his process and might this be just like Hawkins and Coach Cal take notice? I don't expect the train to be stopped tomorrow by Ballard.

Why would Boyle fans be talking bad about Bell? That I don't get.

I've bit my tongue a lot this season. People never cease to amaze me. I'm glad your uncle spoke the truth to those Boyle County 'fans'. :thumb:

Depends on the new staff at NKU.

Why would Boyle fans be talking bad about Bell? That I don't get.

Because they aren't true fans and they don't know crap. I don't get it either.

Ah, the beauty of a message board. Everyone gets to post. No moron filter.

Right there with you.

What I've seen in the last few years out of fans, relatives, cousins, moms an dads of fellow players is very sad. I honestly don't know where its going to end.

I hope the Bell family was able to find a nice quite place off to the side to watch their son. :(

Congrats to Boyle County.

What is it with these 60-59 scores? Both NCAA games at the YUM Center this afternoon were also 60-59.

The power of the dunk! Say what you want, but Hagen Tyler won this game with that steal and 2 handed jam! Changed the momentum completely!

Wife driving while I followed Randy's game update thread. Awesome job Randy. Felt like I just missed a Sweet Sixteen comeback for the ages. Thanks for your efforts for all of us that couldn't be there.

Jerimah Bell put this team on his back all game. I though Keegan and Josiah played great on defense in the second half. Hagen came to life in the second half started the rebels comeback. Jeremiah Bell is never afraid the take the big shot. I love that about the kid.

I hope some D1 coach gives Jerimah Bell a shot.
