Purple Haze and Mrs. Purple Haze need your prayers!

PH was taken to the hospital this morning by ambulance. He stopped breathing shortly thereafter. Efforts have been being made all day to save his life. The last ditch effort is occurring now, as he is being taken to OR to try and save him. This is a long shot, though. His temperature is only 60, his blood pressure is extremely low, and they've maxed out the BP medicines they can give him. IF he makes it, there is a real possibility he can lose his fingers, his hands, and/or his arms because of the dosage of BP meds he's been given. The doctors have NOT been hopeful.

 

Yesterday was a great day for PH, though, as he asked to go to Hobby Lobby to look for model cars. He and Mrs. PH had a wonderful day. But today has been extraordinarily tough, as you can imagine.

 

PLEASE pray for the Purple Haze family. For strength, and for God's will and the surgeon's guidance.

He's still in surgery, which is way more than anyone had given Mrs. PH hope for. He is a fighter!

Hate to hear that. He has been through an awful lot but he & Mrs. PH have always maintained such a positive attitude. My thoughts are with the PH family.

He has made it through surgery, but his prognosis is grave. They've told Mrs. PH they are giving him a 5% chance of making it through the night.
