It happens. If Holmes defends, they are a tough team to beat. When they don't, you get results like tonight. Have to be more consistent if they want to seriously challenge for the region. They didn't play like a top 5 9th region team, let alone top 20 statewide team tonight.

Both teams shot very well but one team made more.

 

Stanley was a middle school phenom who some pinned a future D-1 player at the time. He kind of got lost in the shuffile there for a while but never really lost any ability. He outshined a major D-1 talent last night. Kudos to Brenden Stanley and the Boone Co Rebels.

Boone plays some good seniors with experience and strength. They are fearless about driving to the basket and Stockwell is very solid about getting his shots and playing his game. They will be a tough out in the Region tourney.

Did not make the game,,,but was told that Holmes made Boone County look like a TOP 20 Team......
