Jordanian King Is Talking About PERSONALLY Piloting An Airstrike On ISIS

Featured Replies

I'm not sure what the overall strength of Jordan's military is, or how much they can assist in the American campaign against ISIS, but it would seem that after ISIS posted videos of their brutal execution of captured Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbe by burning him alive.

After seeing the video of al-Kasesbe's execution, Jordan's King King Abdullah II first responded by summarily executing Sajida al-Rishawi and Ziad al-Karbouli, two death row inmates with ISIS ties who Jordan had been attempting to negotiate for al-Kasasbe's release with. Following that, he ordered 20 F-16 airstrikes on Islamic State targets on Thursday, and has promised to follow that up with a "harsh" war to be waged on ISIS.

King Abdullah, who is himself a military-trained pilot, has even implicated that he may personally be piloting one of the airstrikes on ISIS.

ISIS has finally messed with the wrong country. Jordan has a strong military, a leader who has a military background and tons of respect from the countries around them. Maybe now we can quit messing around with these guys if more countries over there stepped up. Has Japan offered any support?

That's nothing ,we got a guy in mom jeans and a helmet riding a bike .

With the mostly rocky relationship between Jordan and Israel, this will help the two to work together more for the sake of their security and strategic interests.

This is what the world needs, some country in the Middle-East not named Israel to step up. We all know ISIS is brutal, heck even Al Qaeda thinks they are too extreme, and both seem to be trying to one up the other in Syria, this could be what needs to be done, to start getting main stream Muslims to also say enough is enough.

Sometime soon we will see a lot of strange bed fellows against ISIS. ISIS is a threat to almost everyone, Russia is also an ISIS target, ISIS told Putin "We are coming to Russia to free Chechnya". Heck, Iran is even an enemy of ISIS. It will get very interesting soon on who will be partners to fight ISIS.

Jordan is a poor country compared to the oil rich countries that surrounds it. We need to help them a lot more than we do.

Japan technically does not have a military according to their own constitution. They do have forces though called the JSDF which stands for Japan Self-Defense Forces which are used for only defense of their own nation. They cannot move outside of the country unless for UN peacekeeping missions.

Japan could offer support through supplies and financial means though but any type of military aid.

That's old school and awesome if it happens!

Would love to see obama pilot his own plane and go into battle.

It would look like this:
