Crash , sometimes truth hurts . The OP didnt totally bash the guy . He offered an opinion on an opinion board . Its not the end of civilization. If GC would quit losing to teams inferior in talent then we could stop having such an all time worst discussion. JMO .

Many instances a lot of it can be attributable to lack of heart, effort, toughness, will, drive, desire, focus etc. on a player/players. And many times these things just can't be coached, or instilled by a coach no matter how hard he tries. I don't know the specific situation at GC, but just throwing that out there.

I'd agree , but he has been there 3 years . all three have been disappointing to me . To be fair to him , I'm not sure Coach Cal could win there . GC needs a culture change , and thats hard for a single guy to pull off. But he has had some teams with tons of height and it just doesnt seem to get utilized .

It's just not the place for it. Man up and take them to the coach. IF you truly care about the well being of the team and kids BGP is not the place for a thread like this.

 

If you are bitter and don't truly care about the kids, school or program...which is what I take from this...then by all means fire away so they all can read it and cause even more dissension.

I think losing takes more of a toll on the coach and some parents than it does the kids.

There's a big, big difference between ranking or critiquing players and what you're doing here. Would you be okay with a thread entitled, "WANTED! New Point Guard at [supply name] High School"?

There are no titled threads about point guards ,. But I just read today, someone say so and so is not a point guard cause he cant handle the ball. Called kid by his name. talking kid and a grown man. Only difference is title. I`m fine with critiquing both, But seems to be different if you go at a coach.

Now meeting with Harold, would only turn out bad, and mainly on my son. Did you think about Harold getting mad ,then taking it out on my son.,
