Dang. Whoopin.

Really, really surprised by this. Royals were without 2 starters. Very nice win! :thumb:

It sounds like the Bulldogs just got taken to the woodshed tonight.

It will be interesting to see the final shooting percentages.

Holmes will have to regroup quickly, because they are in a tough stretch of games right now.

Mason making a statement for the the 10th Region folks?

Per Danny Weddle, this was Chris O'Hearn's 250th career win.

Mason Co won this game because they had Dorian Henry and Holmes didn't. ..career high 35 pts to go along with 11 rbs. Man among boys.

Did not see this coming and obviously neither did Holmes. There was word that the Bulldogs might look past the Royals with CovCath coming up next. Impressive win.

Final stats:

Henry 35 pts, 11 rbs

D Johnson 13

Omara 10

Boone 6

A Williams 5 & 6 rbs

Just one of those nights for Holmes. On the road and have a bad shooting night and you get blown out.

Mason Co is really good though and should be given credit. Dorian Henry almost single handedly beat Holmes.

Utter and complete domination from Henry and the Royals. No doubt who the best player on the floor was this time; Henry 14-20 from the field (Royals shot 62% as a team) and 7-9 from the stripe. Dee Johnson steps up with 13 points, O'Mara with 10, Pig Williams with a steady floor game and pretty daggone good defense on Bolden.

Fun facts:

Royals win by 24 and don't make a 3-point goal. Went 0-5 in the first half; realized that they were going to make their living against the Bulldogs' interior and didn't attempt a trey in the second half.

Ouch. I know Mason is really talented, but didn't see this coming. I guess Holmes had no one to stop Henry. Young man is pretty darn good. I'm assuming a that Mason was able to match speed and athleticism and broke the press well. That coupled with a poor shooting night was all she wrote.

Saw a lot of this in the update thread.

Just a butt kickin'. Gotta move on.

Yep. More important games for the Bulldogs coming up than this one.
