Beechwood is public but independent so someone from Independence could go to Beechwood but they would have to pay tuition.

Open enrollment, there is a test required, there is limited number of spots open at the school for tuition students. And they do pay tuition if they are out of district.

Public schools get their funding from tax dollars. Many city schools are referred to as independent, meaning they are not part of their County school system, but they are still public schools because they get state funding. Pikeville, Danville, etc.

 

The attendance question is an open enrollment issue.

I could see Mike Woolf applying. Isn't he a CCH grad. Wouldn't be far fetched for him to bring Warner back if he got the job. They were the last ones to beat Highlands.

This is way out there, but someone threw out the coach at TMC if a certain figure could be reached and a teaching spot were open. I didn't realize that TMC paid so poorly.

Whoever the next coach is, he will inherit a program that is in better shape now than it was when Coach Wirth arrived. This is not to be a shot at Dave Brossart as I have great respect for him as both a coach and more importantly a person. Brossart inherited a team that was lacking in both experience and talent and had to scramble to assemble a coaching staff in the time he had.

 

The next step for the program will require 100% commitment from both the Coach to the team (Includes the school as well) and the team (Parents included) to the Coach. Anything less and you will get more of the same.

 

Coming from a CCH grad and parent, whoever the next coach is will have my support, just like all of the previous coaches had.
