Didn't Rowe hire Wirth? I just point that out because posters above have said that Rowe knows what he is doing and the next coach will be better.

I thank Coach Wirth and family for their work and success. For all a coachs efforts it is still high school ball and the most important things still happen in the classroom. Few kids on any team plays on. Ws are a more fun but the intangible benefits of playing the sport will endure unless a coach is a complete idiot. Let's not, to the enjoyment of some on here, turn this into doom and gloom for a group of teenagers. They will play for their coach and their teammates and love it.

 

It hasn't sven been 24 hours and this is already hurting the players, and more than we know.

Interesting, as that's not what I have heard, from players themselves.

 

Possibly they will miss him, as most people would in most situations, but they are looking forward to a new beginning.

I'm hoping the next coach will make sure the 3rd string DE or the 2nd string Kickoff member will feel as vital to the TEAM as the starting RB, or QB, both on the field and in the school hallways. It will take a group effort (one for all / all for one) to knock off HHS.

So, is this post giving us a clue about why he is no longer the coach? He didn't say hello to little Johnny in the hallway?

Guessing CCH would like to have Brossart back right now, after the job he's done at Dixie in the past couple of years. maybe someone should be looking at Rowe as the problem, and not the head football coach. :popcorn:
