I thought Dave Wirth did a fine job at CovCath but I guess when you cant beat the Birds its a death sentence.

 

This upcoming year they probably have the best opportunity to change that streak.

I think Dave Wirth did a solid job at CovCath, really I do.

 

It will be interesting to see who the next Coach is at CCH and if that Coach is a real upgrade over Coach Wirth, the bar is set high.

Agree Guru....Wirth just didnt have enough good football players to compete at a high enough level.

So was he let go or did he choose not to come back? Was he the reason that there was some grumblings about kids not coming back next year? Please tell me not beating Highlands was the reason if he was in fact let go.

I am with you here. Would like to know what the circumstances were? There was reference in another thread that there were some locker room issues prior to the Beechwood game. Is it possible that he had lost this team after the first game debacle against Highlands?
