Anyone else utterly confused by the disdain and ire that is being thrown at Gov. Christie for being at the game and cheering when the Cowboys won?

He has become a good luck charm. I would fly him in for every game.

Yes, it absolutely changed the outcome of the game significantly. At the very least, they were headed for a field goal on that possession. Not to mention, they allowed Dez Bryant to run off the bench with his helmet off. That alone should have been 15 yards and a first down. Say what you want, but the Lions got hosed.

So if they let the penalty stand are you saying the Lions would have been awarded at least 3 points? The fact is they could have called the penalty, given the Lions a first down, then they turn the ball over on the next play. The lions still had chances and blew it.

They could have also scored a TD and put the game away. The officials changed the outcome of the game.

We'll never know what would have happened. What we do know, for sure, is that the refs blew it.

How good is the Dallas offensive line? I know they gave up 6 sacks, but most of those were coverage sacks. Mad props. Also, how they've remained solid on defense with their injury problems is amazing.

Anyways, on to Green Bay. Congrats to the Cowboys on their second playoff victory in 17 seasons. :D

That doesn't bother us old-timer Cowboy fans, we still have our 5. :D

That said, I fully expect Green Bay to win this weekend.

They could have had some cojones and went for it on 4th down but didn't. They have themselves to blame. They could have stopped Dallas from scoring on their final drive, but they didn't. They have themselves to blame. The ref's blew more than that call, some went in favor of the Lions. We can argue this all day, bottom line is that one play didn't cost the Lions the game.

I think they have a decent shot, but you are probably right.

I think if Rodgers is still hurting, they have a good chance. If not, Rodgers is crazy good and will defeat my Cowboys.

The only thing you can say with much certainty is they shouldn't have announced the penalty then wave it off. Other then that nothing is for sure. It wasn't definitely a penalty and if anything should have been called holding. On the other side it should have been called illegal hands to the face on the Lions.

I agree we don't know what would have happened. With that you can't say the refs changed the outcome. You have no idea what the outcome would have been. The game did not end on that play.

Now the NFL is coming out and saying they missed a hold on Jason Witten that should have been called when Dallas converted a 4th and 6 in the 4th quarter.

So how about two game changing blunders by the ref? Wait , let me guess, that didn't affect anything either?

The refs were horrible missing calls on each team.

Dallas was able to overcome and walk away with the win.

There were three missed calls that should have been on the Lions in the 4th Qtr. Now what?

I didn't hear the NFL admit those misses
