Dallas 24 Detroit 20

Featured Replies

It doesn't matter to me which team got hosed, all I care about is that a team got hosed. If it was the other way around, I'd say the same thing about Dallas.
They got hosed. I proved it. You said nothing.

6 points that shouldn't have been means nothing?

He's also glossing over the reason it was reversed.

If I'm glossing over it, then roughly 90% of American football fans are also glossing over it. It is what it is. It hasn't been a great year for the NFL and I'll just leave it at that.

Entertaining thread for sure. :)

I'll say this: NFL officiating is at best "very inconsistent".

Even when they use instant replay it seems like a 50/50 shot that they'll make the right call. Not to mention, humans can see the exact same thing and draw a different conclusion.

Bottom line: Dallas has been worse than the Bengals for like a decade. I say let them enjoy one win.

And Detroit is the NFC's Bengals... Whatever can go wrong will go wrong. It just is.

That was the call on that same exact play in every other game, all season long. You run down with your eyes looking at the receiver and make contact with the receiver without making a play on the ball and it's pass interference. They call that all season long...then don't call it in the big game. Wait I'm sorry, they do call it in the big game, then overrule themselves and don't call it.

Grabbing an opponent by the facemask is a penalty 100% of the time. It's not subjective, it's a penalty. PI is has subjective as it comes. Even after the fact not everyone agrees it was PI. There's no arguing the facemask.

So Obama and the American fan is your ammo? This is like going to battle against the French.

Even the Cowboys know the Lions got screwed:

@NYPost_Schwartz

Cowboys S Barry Church said he thought Hitchens committed pass interference. "I would've called it,'' he said, and smiled.

smh. I thought you didn't care about it either way? Why are you still fishing? Let it go, we won. Move on.

I'm not fishing. There's nothing to argue

I agree, there isn't anything to argue but you keep arguing. We've shown both teams got "hosed". At best/worst (if you're a glass empty or glass half full guy) there were enough blown calls to offset.

The moral of the story of the thread: The Lions didn't loose because of one call....or even two. They lost because they got beat in the second half. EOC.

The Lions lost because they are the NFC's Bengals... It's just written in stone for some reason.

Your right, it should have been illegal hands to the face on Lions
