I need motivation!!! I REALLY want to get back in the habit (which I had for MANY years, but lost in the last year) of getting up for the gym before work. But all of the sudden, my bed is just too warm and cozy. #NeedASwiftKickInTheAss

Book a trip that people will see you in a bathing suit......schedule it 90 days away and then set your goal......

Minor setback at the SEC tourney in Nashville this past weekend but really hit it hard last week as far as strength training. Starting to see gains in this 43 yr old body. Was down 12 since Jan 5 last Thursday. But probably gained a few back in Nashville. Lol

All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Gotta let loose sometimes. :thumb:

Try setting small manageable goals. Pick 2 days this week that you get up and go to the gym. Try that on for size and see if it sticks.

Well, got 6 Muscle Ups and a ton of misses. Had 6 with about 6 minutes left and just couldn't get the last one. Going to try again on Sunday.

Here's a pic of me from Friday trying to get one of the muscle ups. I think this was a probably a miss.

Loving my T25 Speed 2.0! 25 minutes of non stop pretty intense cardio. I have been doing that every day. Then every other day I add 25 minutes of weights and abs. Most important thing for me is that it is a manageable amount of time to work out each day. There is no reason why I can't find at least 25 minutes somewhere in my day.

Great to read about everyone's success on here! Keep posting up. Each post motivates someone else.

Ran an easy 17 on Saturday. Beautiful day for it.

Swum 2500 this morning, and heading to the gym now for a routine I created called Get 'Em Done.

You can do this in any sequence or order. Just fulfill the numbers in some way.

10 laps (short track at the indoor gym)

100 air squats

100 pushups

100 sit-ups

500 jump rope

100 step-ups (50 each leg)

500 wall taps with heavy med ball

Followed by a circuit x 2 - 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5

10 - Power Jacks

9 - Calf Raises

8 - Side Lunges

7 - Bucking Hops

6 - V-ups

5 - Wall Burpees

10 - Split Jumps

9 - Shoulder Raise

8 - Crunches (slow)

7 - Rows

6 - Superman/Banana

5 - Frog Squat Press

Drinking a smoothie after my workout. Kale, protein, blueberries, and yogurt. It's not bad, I forgot to add the peanut butter though for a little better taste.

Redid this work out tonight. Got the 7th muscle up and was able to finish 1 complete round. It hurt, really bad.

65 minutes weights

30 minutes elliptical incline 10 resistance 9

30 minutes stationary bike level 7

If you have ever seen or done a p90 x........... Google "p90x studio c" and watch it......pay particular attention to how to "modify"

CrossFit Games Open work out 15.4 released last night.

Complete as many reps as possible in 8 minutes of:

3 handstand push-ups

3 cleans

6 handstand push-ups

3 cleans

9 handstand push-ups

3 cleans

12 handstand push-ups

6 cleans

15 handstand push-ups

6 cleans

18 handstand push-ups

6 cleans

21 handstand push-ups

9 cleans

Etc., adding 3 reps to the handstand push-up each round, and 3 reps to the clean every 3 rounds.

Men clean 185 lb.

Women clean 125 lb.

The HSPUs are going to get tough pretty fast. If I can get through the 12 HSPU and the 6 cleans I think I'll be happy.

So here is the deal on my fave workout---I think I'm over doing it and I'm bummed. :(

T25 Speed 2.0. 25 minutes of fast nonstop moves---probably up on the balls of my feet about 75% of the time. Now I'm starting to have pain in the metatarsal area of both feet. I am prone to stress fractures there. So I need to take a few days off of my fave workout, switch things up and only do it a couple times a week.

Oh well. Things could be worse.
