Got this trilogy for Christmas & there's supposed to be a TV show based on it starting in May.
January 2, 201511 yr Reading Brandon Sanderson's "The Way of Kings". Book 1 of a 10 part epic fantasy series, The Stormlight Archive. Hopefully he releases them quicker than Martin is finishing up GOT.
January 2, 201511 yr It's been slow-going on the reading front lately. Been working through a collected volume of all Charles Dickens' Christmas books since before Christmas Eve. I think I may stop after the third book and come back to it next year.
January 2, 201511 yr Started by picking a couple of books from the NYT's best books of 2014 list. Went with Dept. of Speculation by Jenny Offill and Redeployment by Phil Klay.
January 2, 201511 yr Spent much of the holidays re-reading some old favorites. The Hobbit, Lord Valentine's Castle, etc. Not sure where to go next. I have a bunch of the Alex Cross hardbacks that I might dive into. I bought a small box lot of books at an auction yesterday; some fascinating titles going back as far as 1828. Probably for resale rather than reading, though.

January 3, 201511 yr One of my Christmas gifts was a graphic novel about Roberto Clemente that looks really neat.
January 5, 201511 yr Due to being at the in-laws, was able to knock out Baldacci's "The Innocent" and "The Hit" in two days.
January 5, 201511 yr A Dance With Dragons: A Song of Ice and Fire Book 5. Haven't done that one yet. I read the first four books but didn't go back to the new one when it was released. Feels like 2015 is a good year to get caught up.
