What is the genre of these books?Mr. Parker passed away in 2010, buy Robert Knott, a good friend of Parker's) is carrying on the The Virgil Cole/Everett Hitch Series. It is a western. This is the 7th in the series. The first was Appaloosa which was made into the movie of the same name.
January 8, 201511 yr I don't read much, as a matter of fact I can count on one hand the numbers of books I've read cover to cover, and not need every finger. That said, based on the thread someone started on here I did read Fearless while off over Christmas. Unbelievably good and can't recommend it enough.
January 8, 201511 yr I bought Joshua Greene's Moral Tribes: Emotion, Reason, and the Gap Between Us and Them last night. I've read some of his fMRI research experiments in the past and this is a topic I'm fascinated with.
January 8, 201511 yr ADWD is markedly better than AFFC, but the best part is all of the fan theories to immerse yourself in once it's all over. Some of these people have written articles almost as long as the books detailing their theories. It's insane. And addicting.:lol: :lol: I feel you. After devoting about a month and a half of my life to mowing through the books, I then lost another few weeks reading all the fan theories.

It's almost disturbing how elaborate some of them are. The worst part is I find more than a lot of them entirely believable. I'll read the title and say "no way, that's ridiculous" then read the theory and change to "well yea, that guy is definitely a vampire." :lol2:

The show is going to be there in two years and Benioff and Weiss apparently know Martin's planned ending. We might gets WOW before then and definitely not the last book. Are you going to stick with the show or wait on the books?
