Well a funny thing happened on their way to the celebration party. Wisconsin Beat Auburn then later the " joke to Bama fans" - OSU Buckeyes whipped the Tide. January 3, 201511 yr Everyone is going a bit overboard on this 3rd string QB stuff. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't UK start a 3rd string QB the entire season this year? Wasn't Towles 3rd string at one time last year? In other words, just because the guy was 3rd string doesn't mean he has no talent. Jones was a pretty highly regarded recruit who probably would start at many other D1 colleges. Let's not act like the guy has no talent and they are working miracles with him at OSU. From what I have seen, Jones looks to have a better arm than Miller or Barrett.

Unlike on BGP where it took NCF about .045 seconds after the thread final was created to trash Bama and the SEC. Give me more Phyllis. and I don't care what team that the person roots for.

To me is just shows that OSU had a tremendous line of QB's and that their 3rd stringer is possibly going to make some NFL team very happy. If it wasn't for the first two QB's issues, would OSU have won? Or even gotten to that game? We will never know, but it did give the 3rd stringer the opportunity to shine, what would have happened to him if he remained the 3rd string QB?

Without knowing anything about the talent depth at QB at those two schools, I would expect Oregon to be just fine. Oregon is a system offense. Plug in the next guy and he will have success. FSU ... I think they may have more trouble. However, didn't their second string guy play a game this year and have good numbers?
