Another team effort with plenty of blame to go around. AD, AJ, D-line, DC, and special teams all contributed. If even one of those had performed better we may be division champs. It is what it is and now it's time to get ready for Indy.

Just an ugly game from the entire team minus Hill imo. This team just does not have the killer instinct other teams have and it starts at the top.

I disagree with rather playing the Colts. The Ravens are a really bad team and beating them for the 3rd time did not worry me.

The Colts can destroy our secondary

This game had 6 turnovers. 3 each. It wasn't a thing of beauty either direction.

I like hearing the "red" to "green" thing. Last night it was "red" to "black and gold." Are they going to keep Marvin forever? When the Bengals get blown out at Indy will they be calling for a new head coach, or will they continue to be satisfied with just getting TO the playoffs.

One thing for sure, a sick Ben is better than a healthy Andy.

Agree but when you figure in the punt return and the Green fumble at the end I feel the Steelers had more good karma.

They will keep Marvin which is a big problem.

They actually have a situation where they could actually lure Harbaugh here. He would

be competing with his brother at Balt which is inticing and would give him a very good chance at competing for a SB with what he has here. No one has mentioned it but it could be a great fit for him and he does want to win a SB more than anything.

I was surprised that the Bengal's DLine could not get any pressure of Big Ben. He had way too much time to sit back and play 7 on 7, with the Bengals pretty much letting him do it. You can't blitz every play, but do have to pick your spots and get him out of rythem. Bottom line, it came down to turnovers by the Bengals, and Bad Andy showed up. Let's hope Bad Andy is done for the year, and good Andy comes out for the playoffs.

They didn't get pressure on him because they didn't want catch whatever he had and didn't want him to shoot them with "the Browns". Ben was having the runs all through the first half, heading off to the can between series. That would have been a mess.

And he's also returning to Michigan so he's not really an option.

True. Marvin won't be fired anyway so it was more of a dream than something that could actually happen anyway.

A Steeler inside source was quoted as saying it doesn't look good for Bell playing this week.

He hobbled out of the facility yesterday. He won't play Sunday barring a miracle, but against the Ravens, he's not gonna be rushing factor anyway. I think they get Ngata back this week too. He would however make a huge difference in the pass game and in the protection scheme. In the event they can get by the Ravens, he'll be all set for the following week. The pain from a hyperextension is from the ecchymosis of the condylar head of the femur (bone bruise) and it's fairly extreme. However, youth is a great thing, maybe he'll surprise everyone.
