The foul calling was a mystery to me. It seemed like they let physical play go uncalled, and then called some very ticky-tacky touches.

I was just happy to get tickets and even happier the good guys won. I'd love for UK to beat Ricky in the Final 4 again.

Few Thoughts after I had time to think on it.

 

Was a good game. Cal has done a great job of load his stable of talent. Also knows how to market the porgram.

 

Rick is his on worst enemy - his refusal to play Aaron and Snider enough minutes to get into a flow. Need some guys that can score on this team and those 2 can.

Kentucky's length and defensive pressure just didn't allow for many good looks for Louisville. Seeing the game in person in fairly good seats made me appreciate how hard it would be to get a good shot against Kentucky. Guys appear to be open but the space closes quick.

Calipari's sales pitch works. The talent disparity between Louisville and Kentucky is alarming and it's not like Louisville is chopped liver up here.

I still hate Chris Jones.

 

Christ Jones became my least favorite player in college hoops yesterday. The flop and then the holding his jaw afterwards? Are you kidding me?

I'm not a UK fan that despises Louisville like many other UK fans do. I root for Kentucky, but I'm not a basketball nut. That said, after yesterday and being subjected to Louisville and their fans in person, I'm starting to feel that way. They have a huge inferiority complex.

I'll just say I don't think Harrell is a 1st Team All-American. Cats fought through an ugly game to get the win. Ulis was amazing too.

Great win against one of the top teams in the country.

 

I usually Dont like to complain however I was disappointed in Andrews attitude on the bench than his play. At the end of the game the last few minutes he was in the bench and not playing and he just sat there leaning back in his chair the whole time. When others got up when something good happened he just sat. Even in his brothers three at the end to seal it everyone jumped up and he still sat there in his chair leaning back. So I know he was frustrated about his play and not being out there for the end of the game. I have not been one to complain about their attitudes last year or this year. However this was the first time I was very disappointed by his actions.

That's a dangerous game to start playing. Do UK fans have a massive sense of entitlement and arrogance about their athletic department that is most often unjustified? Some might but hearing the things people say on a rivalry gameday then projecting it across an entire fan base is probably not the most reliable method of research.

We're a point guard away from being a great team. Really frustrating that our season sits on the shoulders of a junior college transfer point player. How does Pitino let that happen?

Hey I agree that its a flop. Not mad at the kid or acting like he is the only one ever to try and draw a foul. It amazes me how often we get caught up things that really dont matter.
